Happy New Year - welcome 2025! Huge thank you to Liz and family for treating us to the 12 Days of Christmas light display at Butchart Gardens! So many lights, beautiful displays, not to mention the hot chocolate and macaroons. Carrie hosted us all afterwards for a lovely family finish to a great day. Huge thank you to Carrie for her ongoing hosting - we love visiting.

We had a great time hosting our annual Christmas get-together. Mother Nature decided to provide a beautiful snowy backdrop, although we hadn't planned for several hours of shoveling into the days tasks. This year we simplified our decorations and decided on a large (island size) charcuterie board. Great friends and lots of laughs - sadly we were missing a few due to illness and other commitments - and a few unplowed driveways. Just for fun Adrian and I decided to wear our wedding attire again this year - good to get more than one use out of them.

Adrian and I had a fabulous time at the Faulty Towers Dinner Theatre held in the Halifax Marriott Hotel on the waterfront. So much fun - the actors portraying Sybil, Basil and Manuel were fabulous and it truly felt like we were in the Faulty Towers Show. For fans like us the antics were spot on, the actors had the mannerism and the lines were perfectly delivered. Great way to spend a Friday afternoon!
