Adrian and I had a fabulous time in Canmore with Cael and Sage. We went on a sleigh ride, visited Sulphur Mountain and played in the pool. Had a wonderful 2 nights in a winter wonderland. On Sulphur Mountain we got to ride in the gondola, get our pictures taken with Santa, decorate a cookie and roast marshmallows. Huge thank you to Jamie and Jason for allowing us to steal the kids for a couple days!

Arrived in. Calgary without incident! Yippee!! Our hotel had a display of gingerbread houses and an options for guests to vote. The houses all started with the same kit - my favourites were the two with lots of creative editions!

A huge thank you to our friend and artist, Alan Chavez. Alan painted this fabulous portrait of Adrian. I presented it to Adrian during our family Christmas since I couldn't take it to Calgary. I really wanted an audience. It's an amazing piece by our very talented friend. I love it when a great gift idea exceeds expectations. Thank you Alan! We will treasure this forever!

Mahone Bay is filled with Father Christmases, including a live version, played by my brother David. This year David was also a more traditional Santa for another community too!!

No Christmas Party this year and we're headed to Calgary on Dec 19 - hosted Happy Hour with some friends instead. Merry Christmas everyone - we'll miss you!

Adrian and I had a great time volunteering for this years Reindeer run - almost 500 runners took part this year! Followed by drinks in the pub and our friend's, Norman and Sara's, annual Christmas tree decorating event! Huge thank you to friends, Nancy and Bill, for all their organizing and work to make the Reindeer Run a success and a huge fundraiser for our community!
