Nashipay School

Today we got to spend the day visiting classrooms at the Nashipay School. The school was the original project supported by Adrian's former charity which helped build all the classrooms. What a wonderful experience. Children who are well behaved, happy to be in school and learning well above our own class levels. The school incorporates activity into the school day, starting with an assembly that includes singing and some exercise. Additionally each classroom uses movement to help the children focus. The classes all celebrate participation by clapping for everyone who tries and they invite someone to help if a child participate sbut is struggling. The sense of community and love and caring for all is palpable. Jamie, Jeff and Adrian all got to try their hand at a teachable moment. We have much to learn.
