Sea days bringing sea change

We've been spending some of our downtime broadening our American boycott - all of our US streaming sites have now been cancelled. I recently switched to Proton - a comprehensive European option for email, vpn, drives, calendars. meetings and more. They have a free service I think, but also family packs for their paid products. Then I came across this Substack post on how to leave big US tech - so I've spent some of our time at sea beginning the process. Switched to Firefox for browsing, Duckduckgo for search and working on switching to Signal from WhatsApp and Organic Maps from Google and so on. Not advocating that you change - and I am planning to let you know what works and what doesn't. I've wanted to get away from icloud and Google for a while so embracing this opportunity. Our experience in Europe has me also looking for and finding Canadian sites with non-gmo and European style flour. Thinking it would be fun for all of us to share great Canadian products and/or European products that we find,
