Today was our first full-on family day. I had my final appointments - I am now ready! Plus we had lots of great family time - beginning with a late morning brunch, some left over chowder as an afternoon snack. A few games, and a chicken pot pie for supper. We have also been enjoying a homemade cherry pie, a gift from June, our wonderful fried who also happens to be an amazing cook/baker baker. Friends Cam ad Marcia also sent us a gorgeous bouquet and their best wishes - we're sorry they can't be with us - and the flowers are lovely! In the evening my nephews, Justin, Evan and Colin came by and then they and everyone (except Adrian and me and the kids) went to the Legion for a few games of pool!
